India is a beautiful country. However certain people in this country take the nation and her resources for granted and abuse them. We strongly condemn statements that India is dirty country; the fact is that India is beautiful, it’s the people who are dirty. Through this initiative we aim to highlight those committing the crime against our country and her image and also promote those few Beautiful Indians who are working hard towards restoring her pride. It all comes down to this: Whenever you see someone dirtying India, immediately click a pic and post it in the Dirty Indians Album with a caption. Also, each time you notice someone doing good work for our country, click a picture and post it in the Beautiful India Album. We believe that this campaign can go a long way to support all those who support India and dissuade those who don't. This is your page... help us, join us, and let's reach a point where Beautiful India has MANY MORE pictures than Dirty Indians. Possible? We certainly think so!
I feel that this is a very good initiative. India is not really dirty, but Her image is tarnished by a few Dirty Indians. This initiative also comes at a time when everyone complains, but no one actually does anything about it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your compliments! This is all the more reason for us to work harder. Please do send in your pics of Beautiful India/Dirty Indians at http://indiaenvironment.org/Forum/index.php...
DeleteBeautiful initiative, guys! It is so nice to see you people constantly taking interests and bringing a start to such stuff!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We hope that it grows into much more than just a start. Again, please do send in your snaps to indiaenvironment.org/Forum/index.php.
DeleteVery nice initiative by young Indians. Keep it up. Making India Beautiful again is in your hands!!
ReplyDeleteThank you. And it is not just in your or my hands, it is in all of our hands to make India beautiful again...
ReplyDeleteVery good initiative by beautiful young minds.
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed the dirty spit of pan on the walls of the big offices like General hospitals and the Big roents living there.
Which one is more dirtier washing cloyhes in a running stream or
adirty hospital where every one --public and the staff including the Dean are insensitive??
Dr.Ganga
Thank you. And yes, it is quite an issue how people are so insensitive to blatant dirtying of our country, which is exactly what we're trying to combat. Please do send in your pictures of Beautiful India /Dirty Indians.
DeleteA laudatory effort. However, the task is mammoth. And the canvas is wide. Having a broad-brushed topic such as this, it would be extremely difficult to achieve anything save for creating a few ripples here and there. A more focussed specific issue may have a better chance of achieving some impact, I feel.
ReplyDeleteNevertheless, my best wishes.
You are absolutely right sir; the task ahead is not easy. But we think that when people like you and me actually understand the issue, anything can be achieved.
